If I had a nickel for every time someone asked me if my cello was a guitar...And yes, I have a bright yellow case like that one.

This has happened to me on numerous occasions. And then when I went to tell people that it's a cello they think I said jello.

I play xylophone and people always call them bells. And they mistake marimba for a vibraphone and a xylophone for orchestra bells... And viceversa.

This happens to me all the time....I just want to strangle the people who think it's a guitar....plus a cello case looks nothing, NOTHING like a guitar case............also, guitar cases don't have a bow pocket right in the FRONT of the case...
It gets very annoying after a while.............

i hit my step dad 9 times in the head with my bow once for calling my cello a violin.... [dumbass] then i sat an drew all 4 of the orcestra string insterments out for him to show him how bad he fucked up [ya a week after every day i asked him "what insterment do i play?" yaaa he doesnt forget anymore lol]

i've heard some people say u can fit a person in a cello and bass case. my dad said he could put me in my cello case (a soft one though) and my little sister into a bass case (she's taller than me).

I can't believe people are stupid enough to mistake a cello for a guitar.
for one, a cello case is MUCH bigger than a guitar.
and two, the cases are shaped diffarent.
and three,you don't play a guitar with a bow.

My advice is to ignore the idiots who can't tell a guitar from a cello and focus on getting revenge on the violins for all those accompaniments you have to play in orchestra.
