So I was making a sketchdump of Jeremiah and Rosemary, and it was so huge I decided to make three separate sketchdumps instead. Here is the first one.
Here we have Jeremiah Rivers, one of the main characters of my future webcomic, Freak Police. Jeremiah is a musician who lost everything when he became a Freak, and he won't talk to anybody about it, not even people he knows could help him. But he's still his excessively-flirty ladies-man self, except he often forgets that his appearance is now a little... is "startling" the right word for a drowned-looking guy with a puddle on his head?
Jeremiah has never cut his hair short. Ever.

he strikes me as the type who is evil in really little ways, like hiding the remote or trailing his water-hair throughout the house so people get wet-sock when they least expect it! Still I love his design! Absolutely wonderful!!

asdfghjkl; I still love the dewdrops out of his design, it's awesome. Sexy yet obnoxious, smug and confident yet he's probably every bit as badass as he thinks he is, charming yet slightly sleezy... He has a face you want to punch, but yet, it's a very nice face. I like his face. Sexy Pond Noggin Jeremiah has a nice face and looks good in a dashing, kinda 70's lookin' suit.
I feel like hugging him would be like hugging a fish, though. Cold, clammy, and unpleasant and probably makes a comical squishy-squelchy sound each time. Bet he's a great kisser though.
I like his ponytail in his normal self. It looks so soft and lux I just wanna touch it except I feel like he'd get mad at me. Sometimes when uncoloured his hair looks like milk to me, like the one where the notation says "Jeremiah NOT creepy but badly drawn" and it just makes me giggle. Also he looks like he's advertising yoghurt or something in the same image, I don't know why. This yoghurt endorsed by Sexy Pond Noggin. It won't kill you I promise. It's absolutely void of insect tidbits and sand. Totally. You have my word. <.< >.>
Jeremiah is such a lovely name. It just rolls off the tongue so well and off the brain. Sounds very smooth and classy. Like jazz music, appropriately enough.

I shall never be able to unsee the yogurt ad. It's too hilarious. I knew I disliked that expression for a good reason! I couldn't put my finger on it until now.
You are totally correct about everything except a couple things. 1) He's a walking puddle, yes, but he's a normal-human-body temperature puddle. 2) He wouldn't mind you touching his ponytail. In fact he would encourage it, being that he loves feminine attention. He would also encourage you to find out whether or not he really is a great kisser, which he is. (Ugh I feel like I should wash my hands after typing that, but it's totally true, in his "charming yet slightly sleezy" fashion.)
You could totally put your first paragraph about Jeremiah's obnoxious sexiness and his face into a speech bubble expressed by a very frustrated Rosemary, and it would be totally canon, for that is one of her major dilemmas.

Oooh >:^D I am glad to be wrong (and right about him making comedy squishy-squelchy when you hug him)~ I mean if I ever met him IRL I would probably not know what to do with him, because I am not used to blokes actually wanting my attention nor giving me theirs xD I'd probably get mad and not even believe he's remotely sincere and stalk off. If I had to spend time with him it would devolve into sceptical-ness and then flustered-ness.

These are super cool. I really wanted to say how much of a good surprise it was to see an outfit like the one labeled "maybe for Impossibleman" drawn by you. It's just so different from anything that would be in a fantasy story like Realms and Remedies, it's really cool to see something like that on one of your characters. Even if you didn't go with it XD Some super trendy fashion like that outfit would fit so well in a story like this one I think.

Yeah, poor Jeremiah is very much not a trendy man. But there will be some of the best trends 1999 had to offer on some of the other members of the cast, granted if I can get them out of their boring uniforms.

Vivian has a good backstory, too. It's not as secret as Jeremiah's, so we get to learn the details much sooner.

I can't wait to read more about the Freak Police! It's such an interesting story, and you've got such great characters!
I'm writing a novel of my own at the moment called Elizabeth Ammonite, and it is interesting to develop a character and introduce new ones, I had the story in my head since I was 10, I'm nearly 15 now, it's taking me a long time to write, but I feel I need to take a lot of time on it and do it slowly so I don't spoil it XD
