A quick doodle I drew in my neice's sketchbook when she wasn't looking. Someday, maybe, I'll post some real art. Don't ask me when 'cuz I don't know.

There is a story behind this picture. My 15-year-old niece (I'm only 8 years older than her, big families are awesome that way ) was at a dance practice, and she's a very pretty and sweet little thing. At the end of their latest practice her partner, who is apparently quite taken with her (who wouldn't be?) took her aside and bodly declared, "You have pretty deoderant!"

Probably one of the dumbest things he's ever said. It's a good thing my niece is sweet enough to act like he didn't say anything (until she got home and told us all about it. It's a family joke that will never die ). That poor boy, I'm sure he's just wishing for a verbal eraser so he can go back and come up with a considerably better pick-up line. I bet he's thinking to himself "Sheesh man, you put the "b" in "dumb!""

I'm so glad I'm not a teen anymore and no longer have to put up with the ultimate awkwardness that spills out of the mouth when facing a good looking specimen of the opposite gender.
