Description
In my Forces AU, Sonic had his legs amputated from the knee down after trying to escape Eggman's prison. When he was in rehab with his helper, Dr. Borken, he got fresh new legs made by Tails after building up strength. These sleek prosthetics were to be slipped over the hip and attached to both the hip and the bottom of the nubs that are left.Sonic here is still not used to being on two feet again after using a wheelchair for months, but Borken is there to hold him steady as he finds his footing.
I know Borken doesn't look much like a doctor here, but he's in his casual wear. ^^

It did for awhile. When he was being trained, he could only run like a normal being at first, because it had been so long since he ran at his blazing speed, he had forgotten how to unlock the speed he used to do naturally. One day though, he was running around the track, and seeing the mountains and sun in the distance, he found out what that missing key was. His speed is driven by the hunger to explore and adventure, so seeing this finally got him back to normal speed as he rushed off into the distance.
