"Dragonfly goddess"

In this painting appears a very old wise, he is explaining the importance of wisdom on beauty as follows:
behold the beautiful and wonderful butterfly: for what serves the delicate and complex anatomy, the beauty is loaded on its wings when it flights trying to float, it looks like a rag? Here is the dragonfly: it has maintained its staying power from the prehistoric times, it has become skilled and efficient hunter. Its body is strong and balanced, it doesn´t need beauty. Wisdom is just like dragonfly, which lasts only while it must provide some value or benefit, but it´s also true that beauty is undone as the fragile wings of butterfly.

“Diosa Libélula”

Aparece un sabio muy viejo explicando la importancia de la sabiduría por sobre la belleza de la siguiente manera:

He aquí la bella y admirable mariposa: ¿de qué le sirve esa delicada anatomía y compleja hermosura cargada en sus alas si en el vuelo parece un trapo intentando flotar?
He aquí la libélula; su capacidad de permanencia desde tiempos prehistóricos la han vuelto hábil y eficaz cazadora. Su cuerpo es fuerte y equilibrado sin necesidad de sobrecargada belleza.
La Sabiduría simplemente es como la libélula, que sólo dura mientras debe prestar alguna utilidad o beneficio; pero también es cierto que la Belleza se deshace como las frágiles alas de la mariposa.
