haven't really use COPIC markers for a long time. it's bleeding everywhere out of the line
i love bold colors but the same time really love pastels and neutrals. trying to work out a harmonic color combination, not exactly a great picture but i like it because the cat (hence, the title neko) looks so chubby and i have always wanted a three colored cat.
original size: A5, 110gsm cartridge paper, probably around 10 colors were used for this picture.
yes, i realized less is more. but for me, i've always like more, haha.
edit: Please FULL VIEW because it seemed that the texture was not so obvious in the preview state.

i wanted to just scan some interesting pattern from origami paper or existing fabric, but somehow ended up designing the printing myself, hehe.

i wish i can paint digitally like you! actually the reason why i do traditional is because i don't do shading very well. with digital, i find it difficult to add texture. while with traditional, as long as i'm using textured paper, all is well. i really should get myself a book on how to do digital artwork.

i made that up because i figure plain color would be too boring and especially because i'm not so good with shading

The paper texture made the picture looked "expensive", but somehow this effect is only visible on full view. You should increase the resolution of the preview picture or else encourage people to click on full view.
