Description
My entry for the "GT Art and Music" contest held byThe musical piece that inspired this scene was written by Russian composer Georgy Sviridov. It is called "Time, Forward!" and it was the Soviet Channel One news theme for several decades.
My idea was to use the rushing rhythmic power of the music as a driving force for the adrenaline filled toy train ride across the room ^_^

It seems they are just playing. Why should he be mad?

I like the ay the 'giant' boy is positioned over those tracks so that the tiny kid on the toy train has to go between his legs like that. That must be a very interesting experience for the kid on the train (in addition to being only a few inches tall, that is)!

I like what the blurred out kid in the background is wearing. Very stylish on my opinion.

Hopefully I'm not the only person who'd think that would be ten times funner than 6 Flags.

I love the light and blur zone effect ! Congratulation. it's really well done. One one of the rare who know how to use a software and make art with it, you're not only put object together.

I was still not quite satisfied with the lighting - I think it is a bit too harsh. But since the deadline was drawing near, I had to hit 'render' at last ^_^

As far as the image itself is concerned, good job. I like the rendering, and the focus on the small fellow with the slight blurs gives a nice effect. I can imagine the humor to some end, in that such music inspires, at least with regards to trains, images of grand spectacles of rail cars speeding along. Possibly even some action going on on board. Yet, at the same time, were this in a room, it would be slower, with a quite buzz. Such an interesting contrast.
In any case, I really like how the image and the music go together. very nice work.

great work, I hadn't gotten any thing about new pictures by you in a long time that i thought you quit making pictures of giants and shrinking.

Yeah, I've been rendering some 'not-for-dA' stuff lately, but I guess I'm back with more tame pics again

I also archive the pics here: [link]
Be warned, though - most pics there are mature.

Amazing! This is perfection, it makes waiting this whole time to see what you were going to come up with worth every second.
