I don't know what came over me but one night I just had to paint. I know, don't ask me
I haven't created anything for me in so long I think my brain wouldn't let me sleep until I did something. So I painted. Eh, it looks pretty cool, even if it is simple. It was very therapeutic.
14x7" acrylic on illustration board, done in about 2 hours, March 3, 2008.
Edit: Fixed the colors so now the blue swoops are more lavender like they're supposed to be.

I really like it.. it feels so "natural", and the colours really work well (better than the red version, imho.. but that's just me). Very harmonic and calming, something that i think would work great in the living room as a bigger size, too!

Thanks! I tried playing with different colors in the three for the series and seeing how the colors effect the lines and shapes. The blue is very calming, I agree

Ok I can tell it now. 
Anyways, I had photos of myself when I was younger, and after warping a few of them in photoshop, I went and made oil paintings of those warped images. They're not distinguishable shapes or anything, just fluid lines and colours, and you've reminded me of them with this painting.
