Dang man, you really capture the emotion well in this. The chaotic, ripping of the guitar is well- represented.

Let's see, Count Zero and Mona Lisa Overdrive, and I suggest reading his short stories "Johnny Mnemonic" and "Burning Chrome".

Goat13 In reply to OsmiumMachine [2013-09-17 01:37:19 +0000 UTC]
Thanks dude. I will read these for sure once I am done with Neuromancer.
Whats your personal favorite book of his?
π: 0 β©: 1
OsmiumMachine In reply to Goat13 [2013-09-17 21:57:53 +0000 UTC]
......... I think we can all agree most people who know William Gibson have read Neuromancer. I have Count Zero and Mona Lisa Overdrive, and I haven't finished them. I HAVE read Johnny Mnemonic and that was good (the movie was good too, personal opinion). I've tried watching one of the two X-Files episodes he's watched, haven't finished it. But for now, definitely, Neuromancer.
Tell me, have you heard of the Slender Man? Or watched any of the series involving him?
π: 0 β©: 1
Goat13 In reply to OsmiumMachine [2013-09-18 15:51:48 +0000 UTC]
Which x- files episodes?
Yes I am familiar with the slender man.
π: 0 β©: 1
OsmiumMachine In reply to Goat13 [2013-09-18 20:01:33 +0000 UTC]
He wrote the episodes "Kill Switch" and "First Person Shooter". I doubt you'll find it on the internet, but if you have NetFlix, this should be no problem.
Have you watched any YouTube series involving him? Is there any you like? Or you do not like the Slender Man?
π: 0 β©: 1
Goat13 In reply to OsmiumMachine [2013-09-19 00:45:46 +0000 UTC]
Really! I did not now he actually wrote two episodes for X-files. I got to remember those. Thanks dude.
I watched some of I think it was called marble hornets. It seemed interesting but I never got to finish watching it because it was so long. Then I heard that the tape records divided into separate stories or something. I think the Slender Man is pretty cool. I don't think he is scary but I find him or it interesting.
π: 0 β©: 1
OsmiumMachine In reply to Goat13 [2013-09-19 21:42:52 +0000 UTC]
Marble Hornets is LONG, yes. And it doesn't seem to tie loose ends the way you want it to. I'm caught up with EVERYTHING and I'm really starting to lose interest. Thankfully I haven't.
If ya want better Slender Series, check this out: ultimateslendermanblog.tumblr.β¦Β This might help. See somethin' ya like and go from there.
If I may ask, what is your series to read/watch etc?
And BTW, thanks for adding me to deviantWatch. That really made my day!

Goat13 In reply to OsmiumMachine [2013-09-20 04:55:05 +0000 UTC]
Is it worth it to watch all of Marble Hornets I already spent like I think about an hour into it.
this seems fascinating I never new about this blog, I will give it a look.thank youΒ
Do you mean my favorite stuff to read and watch?
No problem dude. I think its cool that your a Muslim/greaser thats pretty cool. If you need any help with your comic and stuff just let me know : >

OsmiumMachine In reply to Goat13 [2013-09-20 15:23:38 +0000 UTC]
Okay, to clarify: your favorite things to read and watch, ergo, books, comics, TV, Movies, video games, web series, webcomics, etc.
Thank you for the compliment. When I post something good I'll let you know.
BTW, I read one of your journals about that new comic you made, "Barks" if I'm not mistaken. I'm going to read it soon enough, it definitely looks cool, but what's the website you're using to post this? It looks interesting, as I might post my own series there (probably not), but I'd to know more if you know anything

hmm there are a lot to mention but to name some of the top of my head.
I really like the video game company Rockstar and Grasshopper manufacture. As well as Bungie and many others.
BLAME! is one of my favorite manga series. Its really good you may like it.
I use to watch a ton of Mystery science theater 3000 back in the day.
man its a ton of stuff I have to think back.
no problem dude
thanks, I'm posting it on smack jeeves and manga magazine. manga magazine is easy to upload but I don't like how much advertisement they throw or their design choices I mean really I don't want to have to stare at pure yellow while reading comics. They should of used blue, black gray. Smack jeeves is good because you can customize your layout and their is way less advertisement you don't even notice it. but its a little more difficult to upload pages because they can't be over 500kb. But thats just the ones I know about their are a ton of other ones, I don't know about.

OsmiumMachine In reply to Goat13 [2013-09-27 16:06:02 +0000 UTC]
I know MST3K. I'll have to look at BLAME.
Have you ever considered making your own website to post your own stuff (I dunno if I'll do it, but that's an idea that sounded cool to me).
π: 0 β©: 1
Goat13 In reply to OsmiumMachine [2013-09-27 16:23:18 +0000 UTC]
Oh cool really, yeah I really like MST3K.
actually if you get a chance you should read NOiSE before BLAME. Its a prequel BLAME and its only one volume while BLAME is 10 volumes.
I have been thinking about it. I might do it sometime in the future if it become necessary for example sell stuff or ect.

Cool, cool. Out of all the Disney movies he reviewed, which of the Disney Movies do you like, and which do you believe the NC was correct about (as opposed to just giving his opinion)?
Also, I think my favorite NC reviews are The Room, Siskel and Ebert, Alone in the Dark, Superman 4, and something else...
π: 0 β©: 1
Goat13 In reply to OsmiumMachine [2013-11-28 07:04:55 +0000 UTC]
you know thats pretty difficult because most if not all he gives his opinion. Like Atlantis,Lilo and stitch, tangled, treasure planet. Which I half agree with him about those. Also the Incredibles which I understand where his is coming from when he said he wish there was more screen time for the family as a whole instead of just the father. But then again it was a film and I bet they had to cut things out in the final edit.Β
This is not a disney film, But I pretty much almost agree what he had to say about Signs. Which is a good example that emotion is the most important thing in a story. Well at least for Signs anyway.
