Being from a relatively conservative military, not much budget is spent on making 8 different uniforms for every single branch or sub-branch of the military. Adopting a universal work uniform, and dress uniform for their military, the Federation has gone for a somewhat classical look to their uniforms while maintaining a more conservative design. No flashy buttons or sashes.

I liked the US marine colors a lot. They fit these guys tbh.
