Yep, much like Zo-Zla-Halawa, I've done an interpretation of a titan that we've only seen as cave painting so far. And of course you're wondering, who is this shimu creature. Well, remember that collaboration between Godzilla vs Kong and COD? Well, in that, there was a cave painting depicting Godzilla fighting a creature with crystals on its body.

Well, after some time, due to Mr H Reviews leaked the plot for Godzilla x Kong, it was soon revealed that this creature was canon. I knew this because KDM revealed this (he wasn't happy about that leak though).

So now, much like Zo-Zla-Halawa, I wanted to make a supposed interpretation of the creature (especially since by this point, more toys leaks started poping up with Shimu supposedly being in one of them and I soon had to get started on it sooner than I wanted).

The many inspirations for the design here were Gaismagorm from Monster Hunter, The original design of Smaug from the hobbit trilogy (you could some of it in the first film), Greater Krayt Dragon and Safi"jiiva, who was also from Monster Hunter. The colors however are loosely based on Krystalak (however, I soon changed the purple to a more bluish color since I thought it fit more). The eyes are based on the Kong titan's we see from the teaser, since I feel like these two could have some sort of connection with each other and even out the playing field against godzilla and kong. Other parts of the inspiration came from many of the other fan designs that were made of this creature as well.

I obviously doubt this is what the titan will look like in the New Empire, but it was still worth designing just to guess at least.
