I didn't mean to lean too much on “Steven Universe” fan art for April Art Challenge, but it occurred to me that I had not yet drawn Jasper, and then I realized I hadn’t drawn Lapis or Peridot before either, and I felt that needed to be rectified.Related content

The way this flows from Jasper to Peridot to Lapis is really great, and I love the posing choices for each. (And the difference in expressions - Lapis reluctant and unhappy, Peridot businesslike and irritated with a disruption in routine, and Jasper taking genuine pleasure in her orders and position. Excellent work.)

Heh. It was a small thing, and originally I'd envisioned this as more or less a recreation of the group shot of the trio when they first appear in "The Return". But then I had the idea of layering the composition this way, and from that came the interaction of expressions. SO happy you like it. <3
