To contrast what I said in a previous comment, I think the heavy shading really does it justice and stops the character from blending too much.
I will always adore the effort and time you put into your drawings, I just flipping love this ;v; Again, your expressions look great!
Something else I wanted to mention was how you drew the face, I like how you've added some character to it and I totally dig it. I won't even mention the background or this
