Description Finally completed my grown up Dib design. As you could see from the bandages and scars, constant defeats by Zim's hands has taken a toll on his body (and mind). However as time had pass, Dib has come to learn from these mistakes and failures, growing up to become quite the talented and proficient paranormal investigator with an almost unnaturally keen sense of uncovering even the most impossible of mysteries. If you have a paranormal problem, there is no one else to turn to as Dib is the best of the best. However, he's kinda crazy and you may end up in an even worst situation then before, such as injured, cursed, super-cursed, super-ultra-cursed, sent to another plane of existence or dead. But hey! He's solved the mystery!

Also in bad need of a haircut.

This is going to sound absurd considering that we're dealing with Invader Zim fanart, but... I think this one's too edgy. A weird complaint, but I can't shake that off. I don't mind Gaz's design going against what I would expect the show to do with her as, well, I know you like huge boobs and so do I, but Dib here seems off here, to me at least. I like how his T-Shirt's emblem is now all over him, and I do like the backstory you've crafted for him, but I think he looks way too serious here. Not crazy or funny, just angry. I think his grasp on reality should have kept on slipping away with time and that his future self's design should reflect that.
There are some quality ideas here, don't get me wrong; the ridiculousness of his hair growth does not go unnoticed, but I wished that, the same way that it happened on Dib's Wonderful Life of Doom, as he got more and more badass, he'd also get sillier and sillier.
Sorry man, but I'm not a fan of this approach. I don't hate it or anything, but it stands out from your other artwork, which has always kept a sense of self awareness over how silly or "fanservicey" it got. This one's not a winner in my book.
Either way, don't feel discouraged and keep up the great work!

I see. Maybe I'll play around with the color scheme, hair and facial expressions for this Dib in future so he wont seem not as serious, since you've listed off a lot of things I was trying to go for regarding the design.

I main thing I was going for was the overcoat to make Dib resemble somewhat of a pulp, paranormal detective, with the emblems being buttons on the coat. Thank you for the feedback.

Im curious about something. Does Dib even bother trying to out Zim anymore? If so how hilariously bad does he fail?

He's busy with other paranormal work these days. But he'll still take a crack at capturing/outing Zim if the opportunity arises. They are old enemies like that.
