Wanted to give this cute plant a bio so here it is. As the name implies, Sonya is a sunchomper: a hybrid plant between the vicious and hungry chomper as well as the lovable and friendly sunflower. Agents of LEAF were experimenting on cross-breeding two different plant classes to create strong hybrids that will take down Zomboss's army. Sonya was one of those strong hybrids. She has the appetite and wild side of a chomper while having the sweet and generous side of a sunflower.

Weapons: Sonya shares the abilities of a chomper and sunflower. For the chomper, she can goop enemies, burrow to the ground, and latch and gobble down zombies with her long tongue. As for the sunflower side, Sonya can shoot sun pulses, heal plants with her heal beam, and unleash a powerful sunbeam

Strengths: With her mixed genetics, Sonya is twice as strong than a sunflower, taking more punishment than ever. Not only that, her reflexes have improved more; making her a strong hybrid to take out. She also has a higher metabolism than a regular chomper, along with her wide mouth extension. With that, she's able to eat and digest at least 950-1250lbs of food; enough to eat a whole patrol squadron of zombies as well as a single gargantuar

Weakness: While she's twice as strong and can handle more pain, she's not invincible. Sonya can get severely injured if she's been exposed to too much pain. What's worse is that she's not able to make potted sunflower plants; she won't be able to heal herself if she's hurt. She also can't use her spikeweed ability, as it's not fully developed in her genes yet
