I lost my Sadie-girl a few years ago, and I still get quite sad about it. I can understand the loss of a friend. My best friend was a lovely orange Belgian Malinois. Gorgeous gal, she was. :] Your girl was quite lovely.

you're welcome.. I kinda hesitated at writing the word "dog" as they are more than animals, they ARE mans best friend..
I never refer to my girl as a dog, I always use her name or some other term of enderment like girlie, sweetie, wonderpup... even when Im angry at her I never call her a dog... she is my best friend.
My husband always calls her a dog, not being mean or anything, but he just isnt a doggy person.. he says he is, but I dont think he really "gets it"..
When he was growing up, he had a dog and refered to it as a pet.. When I was growing up, I our family had dogs, and they were a part of the family...
