Edit : Alright so I finally got around to getting a picture of the image completed. So I decided to reupload it and also, this is alot bettere photo than the one that used to be up. The BG idea that I finally used was my old art teacher, Mr. Curtius', idea. I think it turned out well. This is still one of my favorite pieces of all time... not just because of the meaning, but because I think this is one of my best works.

Okay...I don't know if I put this in the right category. I really have no idea where it would belong. But...I did use photo references for the poses...urgh.

Anywayz....this is incomplete, but as complete as most of you will see it. There is supposed to be something in the box in the background...but, I have to talk to my art teacher about it. I have ideas...but I'm afraid of putting something in there that won't be right. So...I'll have to talk it out with him next week when I go back to school. At first, I wanted to depict sky scenery...like a fading of night to morning. But now I wonder, if I should show something, like moment between the two characters in the picture in the box. Not sure right now...

And since I'll be finishing this at school, and won't be taking a picture of it again till the end of the school year....I thought I'd put up as much as I have now. Because...it's basically complete. Alright...so now this is my next Art homework. The girl, is me. The guy, is my boyfriend . I had to get reference pictures of the both of us, for this to work right...and well, it took quite a few of him to get it right. I ended up working off the 3 pictures I had...lol.

Okay. Now...you may be wondering what this means. Like...it actually has a story behind it. It's not just a picture....since my concentration is about dark emotions, this one is Loss. Moreso, it's about Love and Loss. Losing someone who you love or are really close with. I've never had this happen, but, I'm sure many people have. The girl in the picture, died completely in love with the boy. Even in death, she can't help but be infatuated with him. And he still loves her, even though she's gone. She is, of course, sad because they can't be together...and of course, they statement "Till Death Do Us Part" seems to fit...perfectly.

Um so yeah. I really love this. It's one of my favorite pieces, and becoming one of my best. I hope you enjoy it, and I hope I will be able to one day put the completed piece up. Any ideas or suggestions you may have for this, please let me know.

Also - sorry about the lack in quality. I had to take a picture, because it's to big for the scanner. And it took sooo long...because colored pencils reflect light. And it would make this odd white shiny stuff that made detail disappear. Or, shadows that did the same. Or I would get it crooked...this was just luck getting this shot right...
