Stork Lovers! You know Stork right? The twitchy little pilot who's pretty much just the best? X3

Well I was thinking; Since apparently Merbs are supposed to be Amphibious creatures, what if their anatomy took a leap out of a frog's book? (Got this from the way Spitz was calling him 'toad' and the way he was jumping around once)
I had a thought: What if when they're babies, Merbs are born with tails? But, the catch is, when they reach the age of puberty the tail begins to Shrink, so when they're around 12-13, the tail's just gone? No problem, just gone.
