Description Nobody asks the doll what game it wants to play; so why should anyone teach the puppet how to play it's own strings?
Dance, monkey, dance.

(It was always interesting with Ace; he always seemed to be the follower, yet it seemed to be atleast hinted that he wanted to be the leader: However, was he just not good enough? Or did he have to just chew out that part of his own tongue? )

This picture makes me think this:
"Just shut up and do as others tell you; let yourself be controlled, let yourself be ordered around, don't have an opinion on your own, don't feel anything, just be like you are not a person. Just be a puppet."

I really like the hand on the left. The one with the fingers together. It's really well drawn and all.
The colouring scheme is just perfect for it. It could have worked, too, if it was in black and white and the only colour visible, was red. Not saying it isn't great like this, but maybe create a BW picture with only little bit of colouring dwelling here and there? I'd love to see such work from you someday!

Thanks X3 I was messing around with varying the impact of acrylic paints for that one Think it compliments or inhibits the foreground's water-colour nature like, or...? And the ink-wash I did for the background hands?
And I'm glad: I was worried about that expression Tried to illustrate a sense of being "stunted" in terms of fully expressing what he wants--not just from where he was at, at the end; but from where he may have come from, and other outside influences that affected the decisions (if they were his own decisions to being with) he seemed to make, ya know? X3 Tried to get to the 'inner Ace' I guess
