What an interesting thought! This would make for such a cool story, I really like your idea.
The pacing of this little comic is very nice, too, and the character's depiction is great. I love how the characters still look like themselves even though their older age is clearly visible.

Thanks! If we think about it, and if Ike died of old age (which he does here), Soren would have a decent 50 years or so to live alongside him. I think that 50 years of watching Ike age would be enough for Soren to gradually come to terms with the fact that he was definitely going to outlive him and start considering Stefan's original proposal all those years ago.
