I stayed up WAY too late working on this, but I'm SOOOO happy with how it turned out!
This is a follow-up (remake?) of Sword Fight! , a picture I drew way back in 2018 based on 's picture (and story) En Guarde . I've been thinking a lot about swashbucklers and old Errol Flynn style swordfights, and maybe sorta inevitably my mind wandered back to this.
The background is a bit of a composite: the ground and the wall are based on free-to-use (marked for noncommercial reuse with modification) textures I found via Google Images, while the cityscape is based on THIS public domain photo on pxhere.com.

This remake can show you've been doing good progress art-wise! Because the poses of the characters are far more dynamic and also the background is nicely detailed, simplistic for some I bet, but it fills it's role and help keep the focus on the characters
