Description
I had to do a project for photography in college in which I would find a photographer who inspired me and produce work from this inspiration. I chose Vik Muniz, who produces images of people with an usual but often relevant material and then photographs the result. In the Flat, there are a number of people who frequent the table and have their own preferences for tea. This image is of my brother, who is rather partial to a cup of coffee. An overhead projector, the table and three large jars of instant coffee later, we have the first of these five photographs: Coffee.

Nope: I brushed the coffee into the shadows the overhead projector cast through an actetate image. Everything but the logo on the coffee jar is real. It would have felt like cheating to do the photos with Photoshop . Thanks for the
, dude.

Shucks . Thanks, man. I'd love to try them again one day. All you need is a camera, a projector and a ton of tea time goods
.
