Let's just say this had to be done! Finally destroying Sephiroth just wasn't cathartic enough - I had to immortalise that moment in a comic
(first comic in my gallery actually!)So yeah, been replaying Kingdom Hearts II lately and decided my last playthru where I pretty much did just the story line and finished at lv 43 was a pitiful attempt.
This time I wanted to make sure I did as much as I could, which included beating Sephiroth. Leveling up enough to beat him was a real chore but I've wanted to own the Fenrir for aaaaages so this is an historic moment for me!
EDIT: Just thought I'd mention that the "mystery voice" guy that was hanging around for 50 hours? Yeah that's me, just though I'd put that out there in case it's hard to get!

Ugh, I was at that for months. I first tried when I was level 50, man that was a bad idea. I had to raise my level up to nearly 80 before I even had a chance and he still killed me!! >.<
I finally got it on Saturday XD I tried like forty times, and my throat was hoarse from screaming at the TV. I was talking to a friend of mine and she suggested Fatal Crest - not the Ultima Weapon - so I tried it out and I won. I freaking won. I was soooo happy XD
Yes, that key is epic. That is now one of my favorites XD Though, it was a pain in the butt to get >.<

Heh yeah I tried at level 50 and got demolished! Then every 10 levels I'd go back and try to fight him again!
I remember I used the the Decisive Pumpkin against him, dunno why it just seemed to work fairly well
I wish Final Mix was released outside Japan, I would've loved to use Fenrir in all those extra boss battle against the Organisation =S

I tried using the Ultima Weapon and Oblivion XD Man, did that fail. The key to winning was Limits. Spam Trinity Limit and go berserk! XD

You're probably right, I never fought him in KH1. But it still felt like a sense of achievement, and Fenrir is just too awesome

Well, he doesn't have what I call the CLusterfuck in KH2(if you don't hit him in time to stop it, it reduces your hp to 1, and mp to 0). at least, I don't think he does, haven't played either game in a while. I was kinda on the fence about Fenrir. On the one hand, it IS an undeniably awesome keyblade; on the other, it looks ABSOLUTELY NOTHING LIKE A KEY.

Yeah he definitely still has that in KH2! Heartless Angel I think its called, if you read the signs though its not too hard to stop. Heh I dunno I reckon it looks more like average everyday keys than the regular key blades

Lucky. I couldn't beat him. I came within dealing one more hit to kill him, and he did that air attack which killed me.

I was Lv70 when i took down Sephiroth. I did it to much that i got it down to about 4 minutes

I never even got higher then Lv73 never found a need for anything higher
He is easy once you understand how to block his attacks and such. First few times however he is a pain -_-'

Heh well it's a lot easier to level in this one than the first KH. Theres a few good leveling tricks, abusing experience boost and the Gullwing on Pride Rock: Peak really helps!
