Noa: “Make daisy chains with me, Hiei! Please? Please?” (*shoves flowers into his hands*)

Hiei: (*struggles, and the flowers fall to pieces*) “What the hell am I supposed to be doing, anyway?! This is stupid! Stupid humans with their stupid flower necklaces! I’m not the damned fox! He should be the one playing with flowers, not me!

Noa: (*bouncing around, all smiles because Hiei is finally playing her favorite game*) “I’ll show you how to do it, Hiei! Here, let me show you, please?!”

Hiei: … (*sighs*) Fine. But when we’re done, I’m burning EVERYTHING.

… something like that, anyway. Only Noa isn’t so much of a spazz. Oh well.

So this is from the same story as my last deviation, “Towers.” Yes, that’s Hiei and the main OC, Noa, and yes, they’re making daisy chains. But only because Noa wanted it. And Hiei is totally frustrated by this because his fingers are pretty wooden when it comes to making daisy chains. He’s a swordsman, not a woodland fairy. OH THE HUMANITY.

I had so much fun drawing Hiei in this. You have no idea. That expression of his, with the little fang and the eyebrows… hoo boy. And the flower behind his ear—BWA HA. Ha. Really cheered me up, that grumpy Hiei did.
