Description I used to be artist but then I got hit in the knee by Skyrim...

Ye I really have been playing Skyrim quite lot. I enjoy it way too much and I decided to make few of my own models to the game, helmet and hammer, ques which is which

I am still nood at 3D modeling, these 2right here are my 4th and 5th 3D models EVER so be gentle with me when you bash me
I have no idea how to get textures working on these but I am getting the hang of things, slow and steady.

I read the post of thenexusforums If Skyrim had hammers and spears would be great!

What program do you use?

I agree, its weird that the game has maces but not hammers, I know they arent same thing but the basics are

I used 3D Wings for the modeling and 3DSMax2012 for texturing, I find Wings to be easier to use when it comes to modeling but some prefer 3DMax. Its all down to the what you yourself like to use mostly with 3D programs, or so I have heard

Hi

Nice, if you have no idea 'bout texturing...Mudbox is awesome (and expensive) but there should be a trial version available. With this software you can project a photo over your model and copy the structure to it...only takes a few minutes for a whole model.

greetings

But yeah, love the designs and models

Warcraft definitely, but Zelda? I based the helmet on the Thor movies Heimdall, I do love that character, not just from the movie mind you.
