Description
What more could be said beyond the title. This was a fairly straightforward high fantasy commission for :devklljatt: featuring characters of his design and some dragons of my own (I like to call them Bonedragons... I'm just not happy unless I have bones somewhereIt was a long time in the making. A lot of time not only went into the weapon and character design, but when it came down to actually making the painting, it sucked way more resources then i ever thought it would.
This would have to be the largest gouache or watercolor painting that I have done. That mixed with the level of detail requested in regards to not only the characters but their surroundings as well (usually the characters themselves will take up a bit more space and the surroundings not be as detailed) ended up really being taxing on the time. In this piece, i believe I stretched the gouache and watercolor medium as far as I could and, in retrospect, it would have been much easer and quicker to do one of this size and complexity in oils, but then again, knowing me, I would have only complected that even further

This looks really awesome, the colors are great... but... but... I can't wrap my head around the pose of the woman. It bugs me on a fundamental level and I can't tell which leg is doing what and that torso twist scares me
Love the energy bow thingy and the mountains with the trees remind me of all my favorite sumi-e landscapes

Really a beautiful piece. I love the detail in the background. That mountain side is just beautiful. The bow is really cool and the idea of energy/electricity as the arrow is soooo well depicted. Great job! As for the flow in the ladie's weapon ... lets just say I wouldn't want to meet her in a dark alley if she is that skilled with it.
Just a great piece. Bravo Graver!

Looks great
Cant help but think that it is a book cover. The way it is set-up woth the Characters in the right side ans lots space for the back cover text on the left.
I would buy such a book just for the picture
