Description "In m'brain, I'm a hero!"

My 3rd evah digital drawing and the first one with any real color added to it! I'm movin' up in th' world, ma! I'm movin up!

This was just a quick lill' drawing I did for a challenge I ran across on the CoH art boards (take your favorite CoH character and represent them down and out but not dead). So here is the most likely fate of The Mad Maiden Absinthium with slight inspiration drawn from Rob Zombie's "Scum of the Earth".

Thanks... but I know i still got a good bit of work at it before i really get good at it. I'm gonna keep trying to work in some little digital drawings for warm-ups when ever I can... and someday, i will no longer have to worry about the horrors of paper changes or medium interactions!

Yes, then all you have to worry about is the correct layer to work on and working in the correct color format for printing or web publishing. Oh, and opacity, brush size, brush type.....

So, yeah digital comes with its own troubles.

Wow, awesome work! I really love the muted colors and borders they just bring out the feeling represented in Abs's facial expression that much more.

Thanks... and the expression was a bit of an accident, but I did purposefully chose to keep the accident

Awwwwe, poor Abs. Only the worms can help her now! *digs around in the dirt*

You fool! it was th' worms what got her in this predicament in the first place... with their whispering and plotting... always with the whispering and plotting!

Neat. I can never draw legs like that though. It makes me

Not to be distracted from the drawing itself...but is that a sloppy border on the outside?

Well, I'm glad I can torment you with my gams.

And, yup, that is a ragged sloppy border. A nice crisp clean border just did not seem to suit the piece at all and the more i stared at it the more convinced i was that it needed something else. The border seemed to fill the roll of else quite nicely.
