This is a bash I did of the VF-19A from Macross Plus (and Macross Digital Mission VF-X and VF-X 2) with Super Parts (FASTpacks) from both Macross Plus and Macross 7, rearranged to look... well... less dumb.Macross is copyright and TM and everything Bandai/Sunrise/Studio Nue/Big West, no infringment intended, etc.

Well..... it's wrong on three counts, though admittedly they're all technicalities.
* First technicality:
The word is actually "vEritech", not "vAritech". I do think "varitech" would definitely make much more sense, but hey, Robotech sucks so for some crazy reason they settled on "Veritech" and made it an acronumΒ for "Variable Engineering and Robotics Integration TECHnology". Barf.
* Second technicality:
Calling the VF-19 a Veritech is a Robotech reference, and officially speaking the VF-5000 has never been a part of any Robotech production. Plus, as I said before, Robotech sucks, and I sorta mentally gag anytime its existence continues to taint Macross.
* Third technicality:
If one wants to get really, reeeeeallllly picky, the term should be capitalized. It should be Veritech, with a capital V. Now I know that's going overboard, but I guess I'm just feeling uptight today.
Sorry if I'm coming off like a dickweed. I don't have anything against you, and I appreciate you checking out the image I posted. Robotech is just one of my pet peeves. Yes, it helped spread anime fandom in the West, but it's kinda an abomination at the same time.

Even though I think I seen this when you first put it out, I am only commenting now.
I am glad someone other than myself thinks the placement of the Aerospace Boosters on the outer edge of the shoulders are... not wise.
As an armchair aeronotical dabler, and originally not seeing any boster parts for my VF-19 (Macross 7) model kits, I was going to 'kitbash" something along this line...
Though will have to save money to attempt to get kits again to make my own varient again.

It is not logical to have the boosters as the 'cannon' has it, for too many issues happen when you need to fly & use the hands in Battriod mode. not to say anything about GERWALK mode (unless the arms are kept in the stowed possion).
I have posted edited line-art of the kitbash idea I have for the Macross 7 kits.
Although, my coloring attempt I feel bombed.
