(Phew! I feel so much better now! That was a killer flu!)
But I wanted to play Legend of Zelda so much and I couldnβt because I was lacking the basic hand eye coordination that I started drawing some fanart.
It occurred to me that Link probably doesnβt get sick with flu since he can drink a red potion but maybe I could get him another kind of off day, like laundry day!
Also, this was a surprisingly fast drawing (for me) since it only took me two days to finish!

This is what he does when he washes his clothes, yes!
(I can only think of how smelly he must be when I'm done playing Majora's Mask. Seriously, in game time it has to be about a month. Talk about stanky!)

...at least in Majora's mask there was an Inn where he could allegedly "rest" but in Ocarina of Time there was literally a kokiri house with a small bed...and nothing else. It was living in the wild for adult Link
(and lets not mention "I smell like sea salt" Link and and "I'm literally a wild wolf half the time" Link!

OMG yes, but I've always imagined him as some kind of obsessed insomniac in Majora's
Mask that only rested once a cycle and never did any real laundry. BUT those others are
definitely better examples, lol.
Twilight Princess takes the cake. xD Nothing is worse than smelling like sweaty wet dog.

you know, that sounds like an interesting headcanon: I've never actually attributed a quirk/illness/negative trait to any Link...but I love your idea of an insomniac-12-year-old-hero!

You drew this with a pencil on paper? What about coloring?

Well, yes, I used pencil, pen and paper and then I used Photoshop...
But the shocking part (for me at least) is that it took me only 2 hours to draw, 1 to scan and clean and 1 1/2 days to color! That is super fast for me

I realized that I liked it enough to post on art tumblr.

Actually it is kinda the same as now. Just each stage is done on it's own transparent layer.
