The sphinxes are mysterious beings, crafty and with incredible amount of magical energy
Its longevity has provided an invaluable wisdom.
Despite their extraordinary strength and agility, they don't fight unless they´re confident of their superiority over the enemy (they´re a little cowards).
This young sphinx in particular has traveled throughout much of Europe for over 2500 years. She impressed the people of Thebes and Spata, though (like most of its species) is lonely and looking to be away from humans. His rivalry with the Sphinx of Naxos dates back long before this island exsist. Is normal that the sisters fight each other

I am reading the saga "The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel" and I felt inspired to give life to creatures from ancient legends, like the Sphinx.
Although the Sphinx appears in this story could not say that this is a fanart, because it really is my own vision of this beast based on their mythology.

Las Esfinges son misteriosos seres, astutas y con una increíble cantidad de energía mágica.
Su longevidad les provee de una inestimable sabiduría.
A pesar de su extraordinaria fuerza y agilidad, ellas no combaten amenos que esten seguras de su superioridad sobre el enemigo (Son un poco cobardes).
Esta joven esfinge en particular ha recorrido gran parte de Europa durante más de 2500 años. Ha impresionado a las personas de Tebas y Esparta, aunque (como la mayoría de las de su especie) es solitaria y busca estar lejos de los humanos. Su rivalidad con la Esfinge de Naxos data de mucho antes de que esta isla existiese. Es normal que las hermanas pelen entre ellas.

Estoy leyendo la saga "Los Secretos del inmortal Nicolas Flamel" y me siento inspirado para dar vida a las criaturas de las legendas antiguas, como la Esfinge.
Aunque la esfinge aparece en la historia no podría decir que esto es un fan-art, porque realmente es mi propia visión de esta bestia, basándome en su mitología.
