I know this is to show how they are like the mane six but I believe that the background six might represent deeper aspects of friendship than the mane six. This is just my opinion, and nothing else.

This is how I did it, based off of many fandom-made things.
Octavia- Generousity, because she gave Vinyl her sandwiche
Vinyl- Honesty.Β She told Octavia she was a vampire in this one fanfiction I don't remember the name. My roomate's a vampire? IDK
Derpy- Loyalty, because she's the Doctor's companion
Doctor- Magic, because of the TARDIS and Sonic Screwdriver
Lyra- Laughter, beause this simply defines her, I beleive.
BonBon- Kindness, because she's always been there for Lyra, despite her being annoying.

I'm mostly okay with them, except that I would switch Dr. Hooves and Lyra (she migh be telling the truth about her stories about humans despite nopony believing her and Dr.Hooves might substitude the element of magic by something like the element of Wisdom, Knowledge or something), and perhaps Vinyl and Derpy (Vinyl might be great for parties and laughs while Derpy may be very loyal to her daughter, aside from the fact that laughing at her accidents might hide some...implications).
I sure would like to see an episode in which they six need to save ponyville from danger or something!

Even though Laughter fits her very well, I'd have switched Derpy and Bon-Bon.
Bon-Bon isn't very kind (saying disdainfully "And you are" and following it with "Never heard of you" to Rarity and refusing to let Fluttershy pass and also kicking her to the back of the crowd).
Then again, putting up with Lyra...
I'd also switch her with the Doctor (after all Rule #1: the Doctor lies).

And i believe the rumors say that Vinyl will say her first speech.
Just cant wait to hear two of my faves Tavi and Vinyl voices if this rumor is true.
