Description
This was my first real experiment using apophysis, which I downloaded the other day. Well, I made one other fractal before this, but it was pretty much nothing.

I did a lot of editing in gimp, most notably the sphere. There was already a circular structure there as part of the fractal, but I added a mapped sphere over top in gimp for the actual orb shape, and I did some other stuff too, including color adjustments.

I plan to try more stuff like this using apophysis and gimp together, at least until I learn how to make fractals that look awesome by themselves.
