My entry for the contest, 2 weeks straight of work went into this. Will add more to this desc later, including the written requirement. You can check out the contest details at the thumbed journal. I kinda tried a mix of styles here, ive been attempting to learn painting without lines and ill be honest half the time during this picture i didnt have any idea what i was doing. It was a HUGE file and a HUGGGEE amount of work. I had literally around 40 Layers in here.

Hidden Lantern Village: 5 Tier Celebration! I told you I had big plans to kick off our Year anniversary - I told you, but you didn't believe me.
I'm gonna go over the rules now before you guys look at the prizes so that you don't skim over them:
Rules and Conditions:
As with anything, we gotta set a few Ground Rules to make sure everything runs smoothly.
1. You must have been a Member since at least January (6 Months Ago).
I say this because - This is a Reward for those who stuck around with us since the beginning,
while six months ago isn't the beginning by any means, that is the start of the new Tōrōgakure.
This is a "Thank you" to those who stuck with us, through hard times and good times.
A Reward to the brave shinobi who fought during the Invasion of the Masked Men so long ago,
A memoir to those who've passed on - And a Celebration for things to come in the future.

Big Reveal Guys! Michio and Midori Got Married~

I know that there hasnt been many MichiDori ship pictures submitted to the group but Rawr is my bestest RP buddy and we literally Rp all day EVERY day, (Not just toro stuff) whether thats through skype, text, line, or join.me. We havent had the chance yet to rp all the way up through arc 10 or 11 or wherever this festival is taking place exactly on the timeline but we have done enough that Michio and Midori have a very precious relationship. This is all before the 3 year timeskip even, (we started back at the VERY beginning of Arc 1) so this will be somewhere around 4 years since their relationship actually started. I figured since this is one bright time of happiness after a lot of bad this festival would be a good time for them to actually make things official while they still had the chance so i put the idea past rawr and we both agreed. SO MichiDori is just about as OFFICIAL as it can get, have fun shipping away you crazy shipping peoples i know you love too.

Oh boy, despite all the work on the picture this part is the one that kills me XD

I guess, For me and my characters Torogakure is almost the same... with a twist.

For me Torogakure has been a home, a home away from home, Before i found the group i searched far and wide for a place where i could lose myself in a little bit of fantasy and fiction AS AN ARTIST. To draw cool characters and watch them grow is one of the funnest things i have ever experienced and its really hard to find a place to be able to do it, and do it RIGHT. While no place is perfect, Toro comes pretty dang close. It has a really fun community and some VERY dedicated and hard working mods who actually have the balls to stick by what they create and not fall under the bus with those who change things for whiney members who just want to godmod their oc's. It makes for a very refreshing and REWARDING run through, and i love them for being here. Keep it up you guys, you Rock~

For my characters, Michio and Dairou im gonna have to split the answer a little.

For Michio Toro is Home AND Family, he really doesnt have any kind of barriers when it comes to who is blood related or not. He takes in Everyone and has Plenty of Love to go around. He works day in and day out to get just that little bit stronger so he can keep all of his family and friends safe. In the more recent years of his life there have been a slew of mysterious incidents with shadowy figures that have wreaked havoc on the village itself, which has made him realise that Toro itself has enough character that it too... has become family? its a little hard to explain but i guess thats the best i got. (im not a huge writer guys so sue me)

Dairou... Im not totally sure what toro is to Dairou yet. I really havent done enough with him to really get a solid feel for his outlooks on such things. He really is all about Letting loose and having a good time. Talking OOC he was my character to be silly and rowdy with after having a "Noble Asukai", with michio being the Proud member of a high family hes expected to keep his shit straight and walk the line and dairou was just a way to go a little bit crazy if i wanted too. Hopefully now that Michio is pretty far along and All these big contest pieces and comics are done i will be able to dive into his stuff a little more and start submitting some missions. We'll just have to wait and see.

There were a couple characters i didnt have time to add in here that their owners graciously offered for me to use but with the deadline coming up it was really a scramble to get it done on time.
