never was into the cowboy shows much ( Hee haw excluded!) but i Did happen to be a fan of BattleStar.

I miss all those amazing character actors from that time. It's not that we dont have them today, but film and drama has changed to favor special effects nudging out acting craft and dialogue.

I agree altho I will say the Wonder Woman movie, while did have some Sf in it was about the most well acted film I have seen in a LONG while. so it's not totally dead yet.

we saw Wonder Woman on Sunday. It started out a little slow for me, but they really had some amazing peaks on the important scenes. I read that the woman who played Wonder Woman, a relative new comer, had a $300K payday... far below the pay of more well-known actors.
I presume they are realizing that the high dollar actors are not necessarily any guarantee of a return on investment.

I agree and there was a few slow points( her as a child) nthey could prolly have tied up some plot lines better but most forget that this was not supposed to be a hit movie. just another in a line of " ok we did that , next" kind of thing. But Jenkins had other ideas and Gal... Oh my stars and garters did she pull off every scene she was in.
Oh I guaran-damn-tee you she wont be getting 300K for the sequel.
As to Who is Gal Gadot? Why she is Diana daughter of Hippolyta ( & Zeus) and Princess of Themyscira.

Good for her to make such an impact in her first try. WOW... goes to show you how talent can cut through and climb to the top. Pretty lady for sure... I do like the other super hero films, but it is nice to change it up!
