Many people are using the wide-angle lens almost as an automatic response, as a formula, and producing a mediocre result that evokes nothing; you, however, have used the wide-angle here to produce an image that provokes thought, that makes me look for meaning, relationships between universe, human culture, individuals. Whatever your conscious or sub-conscious intent may have been or not been, the strong simple visual elements, silhouettes of hill, twin trees, people, and the warmly lighted pointing reaching tower, make me think, make me wonder.
