c'mon dude its not the most original idea on the planet given the genre. and yes I'm referencing it as a cle-che version of such coming out of the hood(ie . urban environment subject to gang violence)

LOL! OH, Avatar, duh. I took it more litterally, as in she was my online Avatar. No, Bleu is her name and she is a character in my comic book, MockTales. [Not yet published.]

Her basic story is that she was born with Blue skin due to a mutation (not so different from a Marvel style mutation, but she isn't a shape shifter like Mystique. Which of course isn't the only Blue-skinned comic character either, but I shall move on...) She is French and Scottish. Her parents, outcasted children of royalty, were raised with Gypsies in their Universe and when Bleu gets old enough, she starts a Travelling Rave (instead of a circus or equivilant), and uses the underground Rave scene to help politically take down corrupt areas of the European nations. Again, in her world. When we meet Bleu in the MockTales comics, she will be in Nexus Earth, the Universe that my comic book resides in. I may re-post the 2007 Ashcan we made, once I confirm with the artist I hired for that project. But the actual book pages for the full series won't be up for a while. I'm doing final development writing, art and design this Spring and Summer, and will most likely post the first 10 pages online for free view by the Fall/Winter of this year, 2011.

Wish we could edit our responses. Bleu has ü in her name; Bleü. But it doesn't follow our world's definition of a ü for a name.
