Description I sit down near the calming noise of the freeway. The cars flash by in the soft glow of the night slowly numbing my experiences, bringing out mere thoughts and observation. Rather than Emotions and feelings easily confused with inner opinion. Everything slows down and now I'm able to see through the Blur of motion that usually distorts my view. I take a step back, filling in a bigger part off my realization, every light flashing by gives me another revelation. But then I hear a voice calling for my name, I turn round and fall back in my social being, my normal state of mind. the girl who was calling for my name asks me: "what is the matter", and then it feels like all I see are taillights.

I believe you mean "rather than", not "rather then".
