I was listening to Heroes of Our Time by Dragonforce, and it was the perfect background music for while I roughly sketched Super Sonic. I think I'll finish this both traditionally and digitally, have two copies....
Anyway, I'll probably put this in scraps later when I've got the completed one up. I just really liked how it came out, and thought I should share it. And it was so awkward to take the picture! I had to prop it up on a dinner tray, then I had to prop the dinner tray up with the sofa!

Calm down, cAlm down. 'Tis but a poorly executed sketch, something to be thrown in behind the wall "to be completed later", that will gather dust until long in the future a child shall discover it and take some old broken crayolas to it. And that my friend, is the day when the drawing will ultimately be completed.

At this stage I'm just vomitting pure inspiration! Yes! A long, long life journey, filled with risks, but one day, that outline will be inked, the doodle fleshed out, the colours put down all one shade too dark, but hey, makes it look real, more true to whoever did it, whoever wasn't brainwashed by bright TV screens and blinded by neon lights!

I found them by chance a couple of years ago, Through Fire and Flames flippin blew my mind the first time I heard it. It still does, I don't know how a human can move his fingers and hands that fast. I used to just use a camera to take pics of my stuff before I finally got a scanner.

Heroes of Our Time was the first one I heard, and it was epic! I had a scanner.... >.> Second hand, didn't work, had no instillation CD, was just a huge waste of space, etc. etc. Now I just use the crap-tacular webcam!

Heh, I actually have a spare scanner although it also doesn't have a install disk. Shame cause its a nice Cannon brand scanner, I'm sure they have the installation file online but I haven't found it yet.
