thank you. i'm not sure about the colouring (it's a bit crass), but i like the textures myself.

Oi, she had a mouth on her! I must say, though, Catherine Tate is a lovely woman. I don't care what anybody thinks, she's a very entertaining actress!

well, entertaining she certainly is, but no oscar actress.
i love her character nonetheless.

The washed color works with the texture, and I like how you caught the about to go off on a rant pose.

This was a traumatic season.

*sigh* DVDs are almost here...

a bit too overdramatic for me. especially JE.
felt like RTD was on too much coffee... many good roots though.

thanks for the kind words regarding the portrait.

Hey, anything's a let down after series one. But I have to give him credit in the whole I can't imagine how to end that storyline either.

Keep up with the portraits, you'r emaking me want to start drawing again

As usual, very nice piece. I prefer this one better due to the work on the reflection of the light. Great job !
Although, I would prefer a portray of Donna in different attitude (more happy for example), but the grumpy mood is part of her character too

(Donna, best companion ever!)

thank you.
yes, i was unsure which mood to choose (she has so many of them XD).
i decided t use a picture from the runnaway bride, because i adore the energy she radiates with her (not always) righteous anger. she's better with the "oncoming storm attitude" than the 'destoyer of worlds' himself (he just looks emo when trying to do so in that incarnation - sorry, david, i still like you, but this is the one thing that rarely looks convincing.)

it was sad to see her go.
well, maybe she'll return. and even if not, there will be books ans possibly audio adventures.

Thid one is more contrasty and then more legible.

Supertemp rules! Donna's ending was so sad. To have been lifted to such heights, and then have all of that ripped from you, and then to be cast back down to your original, boring, uncelebrated life. Poor Donna.

greyfin In reply to FluffyNabs [2008-10-27 17:32:11 +0000 UTC]

yep. i found that more sad than the whole shipper plot.
i love the donna character, although i'm not totally convinced by CT's acting abilities.
