I think you did a good job on Old Fluttershy. She still looks like herself, but not overly old and decrepit. Just aged. Discord definitely looks like he's calmed down, even though he's just sitting there like that. Looks so much more relaxed. Looking forward to seeing this whole thing come together!

yeah. since your work is so different, i don't know if it would be necessarily easy to animate, unless you did traditional animation and drew out the frames yourself D: I can't imagine an animation puppet of discord

its just an idea i read you didn't have an idea for her dad so maybe fluttershy didn't get married and adopted her
im not opposed to her having scotch late its just a way to fill in for a lack of a father

It'd be a little hard to believe Butterscotch was adopted if she looks so much like Fluttershy, though :V I'll just say her dad died of old age.

i didn't just say her being adopted was the only option maybe a magical experiment went wrong or maybe it was just discord trying to extend fluttershy's life span
i guess the only reason this is bugging me is cause i dont see a design for scotchs dad if i did i would accept it a lot better

Well she appeared in my head as Fluttershy's daughter, despite it being weird that Fluttershy was so much older. Her dad doesn't have a place in the comic so I won't be designing him, though I might if I decide to expand on the idea

Heh, I like your character concept for BS, she is very cute. She kinda reminds me of a winged AppleBloom, which is awesome 'cause she is the best pony.

Age difference doesn't have to make sense, does it? I doubt there is a law saying that ponies have to have young by a certain age. Fluttershy just coulda taken her time in finding the right stallion and had her philly at a later age. I say there is nothing wrong with that one bit. ^_^ Besides, if this youngster has the energy of Pinkiepie and Discord for an "uncle" of course Fluttershy is gonna look a bitter older and more tired, lol! Love, love, LOVE your work and am always looking forward to more. Can't wait to see your upcoming comic!
