Oooo I shall have to try some of these out, I usually do up a layer, duplicate it, gaussian blur that layer and change the color, but these look far more interesting 8D

Very nice! I saw some tutorials about glowing already, but this is the first I meet wich actuall shows every single layer separated along the side. this makes things so much more logical for people like me. Thank you!

yes its possible :3 You only have to work diffrently, unless you use paint which you can paint over eachother this tutorial works just fine.

as long as there is brushtool yes xD you can even do this in ms paint, but only without using a brush you would need to make alot more gradient colors to make it look good :3 Pixelart has glow in them to x3

There's just so happens to be a Brush tool in GIMP. I'm gonna have to try this out soon

It can be used anywere you have a brush tool, if you dont have layers, start with the base color and go lighter
