To show you how i work when i do huge art pieces like this.
Its mostly like painting with real paint, i use the eyedropper alot and never have more than two layers at the same time working on.

^^ Hope it helps people alittle, This is mainly for to show how you can work through a piece, not how to draw like i do. xD its better to find the style and method you love doing yourself, but its always a help seeing how others do it to get started ^^

Let me ask you something: do you use only one layer (+ the skecth layer) or do you use more?

I ususally try to use one layer for everything, because its a lot better practice when I have to fix flawes by painting over them, it gives a more painty feel to it all x3 but sometimes I might add light, shadow or details on diffrent layers, depends on my painty mood

How do you make the edges of everything look so... sharp? Edged? What brush sizes do you use and do you vary them much while painting?
Sorry for beeing so curious... I seem to have problems with getting into detail or making the stuff in my picture have clear edges like you have here. Maybe I'm just too impatient.

I just use the normal brush on photoshop with no opacity ^^ I usually use all kinds of sizes but not any smaller than 5 pixels because they get to blurry xD

The hardest step for me is 7th. I usually stop at previous one because I don't know how i should clean up my art.

cleaning up is what takes forever to do x3 its all about making contrast from sharp edges to smooth ones i guess, its hard to explain
