I really like the color pallet you went with here for some reason I think maybe it's just because it's so bright and neon it seems to work both for New Year's since I consider that a "bright" holiday what with fireworks and even the phrase shinning new year. I think it also works for the idea of him being drunk though, like he's at a party and he's so drunk all the colors seem the be brighter. I don't know, but I like it. I also love his little suit shirt and "I hate all of you, I'm only here for booze." expression. Great work!~

And you are right about everything you wrote here ; I share the same colorful and bright vision of the New Year's Eve and I definitely understand what you mean, though I had not thought about it while choosing this color palette. The reason why this picture has neon colors is because (just as you said !) I wanted to emphasis Byron's drunkeness. And dear girl, you just gave me the perfect reply of what Byron might be at a party
