It is 100% real, I can guarantee it. The pic is a print screen I made while watching said episode, I didn't find it randomly.

Yes, the japanese YGO (even GX and 5D's) are much darker and geared towards teens and up. I'm sure you're aware of the 4kids anime massacres, the countless censors and cuts.
