Oh i red most of his including the short ones like The Bully, Splatter film, Grease, Β The Enigma of Amigara Fault(which Steven Universe made reference too and catch that one lol) and Flesh-Colored Horror.
I do wish that someday someone does a more faithful adaptaion of his works....you think he would get alot more ala Stephen King but mostly is Tomie but not his other works. Sure there's the Gyo Anime but wow.......they seriously butchered that one. Not only did the change alot of the story(making the female character the main character and not having the condition she has while having 2 characters that seem like they are split personalities of the main character since they have their qualities)
And don't get me started with the animation.....it was bland and horrible, i do wish that they had went with classic 80's and 90's animation like Devilman OVAs, Violence Jack or at least the guys behind Gurren and Kill La Kill, at least those guys make the scenes very intense which Gyo needed, especially the Shark scene.
I do wish either Alex Hirsch(Gravity Falls) knows about Junji Ito and same goes with Junji, like to see his take on drawing Gravity Falls characters in his style......whoa that would be freaky but awesome to see.
