good to see you're still alive! sorry i haven't responded to your anything lately, i've been only very , very vaguely existing these days.

also, i read the poem this came from like.. a month ago...

...and it's still stuck in my head. In love with the image. If I could paint, I'd paint about it. I wish life was nicer to you, but goddamn you write well when it's not behaving itself.

Also, welcome back to the world of the living. I have no idea when I'll join you there, honours is looking tenuous but possible, but I'm feeling burnt out as hell and doubting how cut out for academia i actually am. Not that I don't love it...

Ahaha. I am very glad you like that line. I feel less lonely in my quasi-religious imagery obsession now. However, what is this "IF I could paint" nonsense you are saying?!

Sorry I've been suspiciously absent too, except to post melodramatic poems now and then. School ended, then there was moving, then there was a vacation, then moving again, and now I live in a shack in the woods with my two stressed-out best friends who are about to marry eachother and we all work on farms and have no money and broken cars. Ahhhh, the frenzied hedonism of youth, of June...

Honors, eh? Thesis, like? Sounds...like a lot of work, but possibly very fun. Good luck out there in the wilds of bookland and keep up the amazing street art!
