I have seen so many different variations on gengars.The simple the design the easier it is to be creative, no?

That seems like the right spelling.. and yeah. Cheshire cat is believed to be the original inspiration for gengar along with being a shadow of a human.

The "Bear" Variation actually looks like a tasmanian devil... I don't know if that's less scary

These are really clever. I've seen a few people draw Gengar like theΒ Cheshire Cat and I've always thought it was a super cool idea, I think yours quite resembles that. I really like the bear and owlΒ too.

It would've been cool if you had done like a Clefable one because alot of people think Gengar is Clefable's ghost or shadow.

I like how you used creatures that appear in the night or ones that are viewed as menacing/ bad omens. Gangar isn't based on a particular animal so this one was more challenging then your others. This is great!

I believe gengar is actually based on a cat or shadow of a human, yet I've still seen it taken dozens of different ways. And it was the intent to include mostly night/bad omen creatures so good on you for catching that!
