Is it really???
Could it be???
IT IS!!!!It's the coloring tutorial I said I was going to make.
Yes, I have finally completed it!
I didn't think I could actually do it, but I did.
I'm not really sure how helpful it actually is, but maybe it will point someone in the right direction.
Sorry for the length of it!
Used: Prisma colored pencils and Paint Shop Pro Photo x2

Someone who actually explained how to use colored pencils very well!! Thank you so much for making this. It helps so much. I always color in strokes, it seems like circles give it a better shading technique!
Thank you again for this awesome tutorial!!!!

The colorless blender is the white thing that looks like a crayon or pencil, right? Made of paper-ish material

grouchywolfpup In reply to uchihaguy [2008-09-19 23:29:26 +0000 UTC]
well, there are a few different types of colorless blenders. I personally use the prisma pencil version. :3
you can check it out here on the Prisma website if you'd like! --> [link]
these have a tough wax-based lead, more like a crayola colored pencil (but have a higher quality).
I hope that helped you!
P.S. I like ur username! x3

Instead of a colorless blender, I use a white crayola colored pencil. It doesn't wash out the colo like the white prismacolor and I found it in my house for free

grouchywolfpup In reply to superlauren [2008-07-30 22:07:41 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, the Prima White really does wash out the colors. But ur right--the wax-based lead of a good ol' crayola does the trick! lol
and the best things in life are free, of course.

what's a color blender?
where can i get one?
π: 0 β©: 1
grouchywolfpup In reply to xX-Kitsune-Sabaku-Xx [2008-07-16 15:25:38 +0000 UTC]
A colorless blender is basically a pencil with a clear, wax lead. It pushes your layers of colored pencil down into the paper, and makes it look really smooth.
I got mine at Pat Catans, a near-by craft store, for 98 cents! If you visit their site (here's a [link] ) and look in the upper right-hand corner, they have a store locater that will find a store near you!
they sell them with the rest of he prismas in a big box thingy... lol its kinda hard to explain.
but they have those box thingies at a lot of different art supply stores, so just check around.
But I hope that helped you!!

Aw, thank you!
ah, now there's a question... it took awhile, for sure, but I didn't time it. I'm sorry!
but, maybe you could cut out some of the extra shading I listed up there, and it would take a lot less time.

colorless blenders are really cheap though. only 98 cents! 8D maybe you could get one somewhere.
i get mine at Pat Catans~ here's a link if you want to find one near you --> [link]
but you can blend with lighter colored shades too. but your coloring is great, and you'll get even better with time!
