I've had this lying around for awhile, so I'm really happy I finally got the time to finish it! ^^
This is my new character, Nuru, designed for me by Annon, one of the two ~MoonGoddesses ! He's a ghost African Wild Dog.
His name is of Swahili origin and means "born at night".
In this picture, I really tried to play around with light source, and get accurate wild dog anatomy.
I also want to start doing more backgrounds!
And I also tried to add gray shading to his fur, but my scanner went and ate some of it. rawr lol
But this scan really isn't that bad! The blues should be a little more turquoise, but other than that I really can't complain! ^^
So tell me what you guys think!

I think you got the light source perfect and as for the anatomy, it looks Wild Dog enough to me xD

I saw him and was all, "Hmmm...that looks familiar..." He looks so cool ^^!!
I love the little fur shadings on his shoulder and tummy.
I must say, I got rather attached to him as well after playing with his tints and background for about three hours. O.O
