Well, I lost my tablet pen and school started up again at about the same time. Hence the silence. But, my mom wanted an icon for our upcoming Dungeons and Dragons event, and I do have an art program on my ipad, so this got done!
A more advanced taratula hybrid, with all eight limbs including functional graspers. I'm hoping they're not too intelligent, otherwise we might have a civilization on our hands at this rate...Original taratula concept sketch:
